After looking around for a privacy based and secure phone, I found Ghost Pixel.

This phone is how all phones should be by default. No bloatware, no trackers, no google, and no AI.
I have highly recommended it to everyone I know.

Other comments: getting familiar with the gestures and moving about on it is a little learning curve, coming from a different phone/gui desktop environment. For example, I never used gestures.
Can not fault this phone / OS.
Full app capable system.

Feel at home and with the satisfaction of owning your data, having privacy and being secure.

Get the Ghost Pixel!! I am extremely happy with my Ghost Pixel and the peace of mind is priceless. Degoogling? Boycotting? Not tech saavy but concerned about data security? You will not regret a Ghost Pixel.

Naz

Absolutely amazing service, quick delivery and everyone at GhostPixel are so helpful.

The phone is amazing! I love the simplicity of it. I much prefer it over other phones that are embedded with AI. The battery lasts so long and it charges extremely fast.

Best decision I’ve made once I’ve found out who is now blocked from my phone

Well I must admit I was a little sceptical to start with, as I am old school and wanted to be certain I was not getting scammed, Jack was really easy to communicate with, did everything he promised and I got my new Ghost phone really fast. Coming from an Iphone, there is a bit of a learning curve, however all my apps work perfectly and I couldn't be happier being invisible.

Thanks to GhostPixel for making a seamless experience

I can count myself among the lucky converts thanks to GhostPixel. I was a bit hesitant to make the transition given a series of specific employer required apps, but it's been a smooth start. All my apps were pre loaded and tested, and I'm fully convinced this was the right move.

Frequently asked questions

Does this protect me from Digital ID & Mass Surveillance?

Yes. It is your physical opt-out key.

As Digital ID rolls out in Australia, standard phones will link your internet activity directly to your legal identity via your Apple ID or Google Account.

How GhostPixel breaks the link:

  • No Account Required: You do not need an email or ID to set up the phone.
  • No "Home" Signal: The OS does not beacon your location to a central server.
  • True Anonymity: Your device identity is completely decoupled from your real-world identity.

While the rest of the country walks into the digital dragnet, you stay invisible.

What are the benefits of a DeGoogled phone?

1. Total Digital Invisibility

Standard phones broadcast your location and activity to Big Tech 24/7. A GhostPixel goes dark. Your location, your messages, and your photos stay on your device. You stop being a product sold to advertisers.

2. Huge increase in Battery Life

Background tracking and data harvesting consume a huge amount of power. By surgically removing the spyware, our devices often last 35-50% longer than your normal phone. It’s the same battery, just not wasting energy spying on you.

3. Zero Targeted Ads

Sick of talking about a product and seeing an ad for it 5 minutes later? That stops today. Without the advertising ID trackers, your phone becomes a quiet tool for communication, not a billboard for corporations.

4. Flagship Hardware, Unlocked

You keep the world-class Google Pixel Camera, the stunning OLED screen, and the lightning-fast processor. You lose the bloatware. It’s the best of both worlds: Premium Hardware + Private Software.

Will my banking apps work?

Yes. This is the most common misconception about privacy phones. We configure your GhostPixel with Sandboxed Google Play Services. This allows high-security apps like CommBank, NAB, Uber, and MyGovID to function perfectly while being strictly isolated from accessing your private data, location history, or other apps. You get the convenience of a smartphone without the surveillance.

Is this legal to own in Australia?

100%. Privacy is a right, not a crime. A GhostPixel is simply a standard Google Pixel device running open-source security software (GrapheneOS). It is fully legal to own, use, and travel with. We do not sell "encrypted criminal networks"; we sell hardware that protects your data from corporate harvesting and data breaches.

Is stock actually in Australia?

Yes. We are an Australian-owned business based in Sydney, NSW. We do not dropship from China. Every device listed as "In Stock" is physically sitting in our Sydney workshop, ready for immediate dispatch via Australia Post Express.

Do I need technical skills to use it?

No. We have done the heavy lifting for you. Your device arrives pre-flashed, verified, and pre-loaded with the necessary App Stores. If you can use a standard Android or iPhone, you can use a GhostPixel. We also provide a Quick Start Guide in the box to help you download your favourite apps in minutes.
